SchoolMarks obtains the information you enter, such as grades or comments. Using the default settings, SchoolMarks will not transfer any of the data. We neither transfer usage data of the application nor the information you entered in the application, like marks and comments. The data is stored on your device within an area that is only accessible to SchoolMarks. Please be aware that the data might be accessible from other applications if you are using a modified (rooted) device. Please also be aware that, if you choose to export the database to the SD card, all data will be accessible to the applications installed on your device.

If you choose to use the cloud synchronization feature, all information you entered in the application (including, but not limited to, grades) will be transferred to your Google Drive account for online storage. Google will handle this data according to their privacy policies, which you can find here: http://www.google.com/intl/policies/privacy/. We do not, at any time, have access to the data on your Google Drive Account. By using the cloud synchronization feature, you agree that we transfer all entered data to Google Drive.

If you choose to use SchoolMarksWeb, all information you entered in the application (including, but not limited to, grades) will be transferred to our server on a hosting provider in Germany, 1&1 Internet SE. 1&1 Internet SE might store the data on servers in different locations. For more information about the privacy policies of 1&1 Internet SE, visit https://www.1und1.de/Datenschutz. The data might be visible to administrators of SchoolMarksWeb during maintenance tasks. The data will not be transferred to any other third-party. Please be aware that no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. You can, at any time, request to receive all your information that is stored on SchoolMarksWeb by writing an email to info@bytehamster.com. If you stop using SchoolMarksWeb, we will delete your data as soon as possible. You may request manual, instant removal by writing an email to info@bytehamster.com. By using SchoolMarksWeb, you agree that we transfer all entered data to our server.
